Look out for this theme right away. In society today, work is an important part of many people's lives. Work can over take a person's live and even lead them towards insanity. This will be addressed in the show and we hope to provide some ideas of finding happiness despite the pressure to provide for your family. This theme is very present in the play Death of A Salesman, and will play a big role in this TV show.
Always Accept Sound Advice / Keep an Open Mind
Throughout this series, Willy will be taking sound advice from his psychologist. We hope to show the usefulness of listening to good advice when it is presented to you. The advice that people give to you on a daily basis can have a big impact on your life and we hope to show the importance of having a open mind. This theme combines the thinking of The Antidote with the stubbornness of Willy to show that having an open mind can lead to a better life.
Listen to the People Who Love You
Much like the previous theme, we hope to show that the people you love the most want the best for you, and you should listen to what they say. Contrary to the events of Death of A Salesman, Willy will actually listen to the advice of people around him closest. Eventually, we will see how this can make a real impact on his life.
Pride / Being Well-Liked
Pride is a major part of Willy's psyche, and it is showcased throughout this show. Sucking up your pride and allowing other people help you when you need it is crucial to your success. Also planning your actions around your own personal success, regardless of what other people think should be a priority. Finding happiness in being yourself is beyond the criticism of other people. We hope that these themes will be shown throughout this show.
