Willy Loman
Willy is the main character of this show. He is in his late 40's and early 50's and is the father of Biff and Happy. Willy is a traveling salesman for a regional supply company. Willy will be going to see the psychologist, Olivia. Willy is suffering from some sort of mental disorder which leads to hostility, confusion, and hallucinations. The TV show Willy is very similar to the Willy found in the Death of A Salesman, however, in the TV show he is a bit more open to accepting advice, and is willing to change his lifestyle.
Biff Loman
Biff is the eldest son of Willy and is one of the main causes of Willy's grief. Biff is in his late teens, around the age of 18. Biff was very popular and was even the star of his high school football team, but after failing math his senior year, he has to retake math. Instead of going to summer classes, Biff is contemplating what to do next with his life. But after witnessing a shocking event, he does not know whether he wants to stay close to home or move away. Biff is the only one who sees through Willy's faults.
Happy Loman
Happy is around the same age as Biff. He grew up in the shadow of Biff and never experienced the same type of love that Biff did from his father. Happy is always trying to cover for his father when he makes mistakes. Much like in the story, Happy will act as a sort of mediator between his father and his brother.
Linda Loman
Linda is married to Willy Loman. Willy and Linda argue often about many family issues. Linda tries to make excuses for Willy as well. Linda will play a big role in influencing the choices that Willy makes. Linda will be the person trying to bring the family close together.
Uncle Ben
Uncle Ben is Willy's brother and made it rich when he invested in the Apple stock right before it became huge. He asked Willy to join with him in the investment but Willy said no and now always regrets it. Uncle Ben comes by often to brag about his millions and make Willy feel bad about the past. Uncle Ben seems to like to agitate Willy and make him feel worthless.
Charley and Howard
Charley is a good friend of Willy and the father of Bernard. Charley works with Willy, in a different department, and loans him money when he needs it. Charley is one of Willy's last real friends left. Howard is Willy's boss and the main villain in Willy's work life. He is your typical boss and often gives Willy many difficulties and stress.
Bernard
Bernard is Biff and Happy's friend who is always over at the house. Bernard is the butt of Willy's jokes a lot since they have very different mindsets about success. Bernard is on his way to becoming a very successful lawyer. Bernard will often be over at the Loman's house and will be the person who tries to motivate Biff to reach his max potential.
Olivia Seligman
Olivia is the psychologist which Willy will see. She teaches the philosophy found in The Antidote and Positive Education. Olivia plays a major role in this show and will be the main character helping Willy to find happiness. Olivia will be giving Willy advice on life throughout the course of every episode of the season. She is a very good psychologist but is accepting Willy as a pro-bono client since he was referred by Charley, who is her brother.
